Charter Mechanical’s Charity Committee is excited to announce that our latest round of charitable giving marks the first time we have donated to the Arizona community.
Charter donated $10,000 donation to RIP Medical Debt (with a $10,000 match) for Maricopa County, AZ. This gift eliminated almost $3 million in medical debt for nearly 3000 local families:
- Amount of medical debt eliminated: $2,905,326 (over $2.9 million!)
- Number of families affected: 2,803
Charter previously donated to RIP Medical Debt in Oregon and Washington. We are pleased to continue our support of this organization in the local Arizona community. Charter Mechanical’s Charity Committee is also pleased to announce that they recently donated to the following local charities in Oregon:
Rose Haven – https://rosehaven.org/. Rose Haven’s mission is to provide day shelter, resources, emotional support, and community connections to women, children, and marginalized genders experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Newberg FISH Emergency Service – https://www.newbergfish.org/. Newberg FISH (Friends in Service to Humanity) is a member of the Oregon Food Network, a cooperative network of agencies focused on providing emergency food. Newberg FISH focuses its efforts on providing emergency food services, as well as cooperating with other local agencies to help people meet other critical needs such as housing, medical and dental care, and job placement. Newberg FISH staff members are 100% volunteer, as they have been since their founding in 1970. 2020 marked their 50th anniversary. Fifty years after their founding, their focus is still neighbors lending a hand to local neighbors and families in need.
Ella Curran Food Bank – https://www.ellacurranfoodbank.org/. The Ella Curran Food Bank is a food pantry dedicated to providing food for people in need living in or near Independence and Monmouth Oregon.
