In late 2023, the TriMet Bus Maintenance Facility was recognized in two categories of the ENR Northwest’s 2023 Regional Best Projects – Award of Merit for Airport/Transit and Best Excellence in Sustainability. JE Dunn was the general contractor on this outstanding project, which was previously recognized by the Daily Journal of Commerce as their Project of the Year.
As JE Dunn’s mechanical subcontractor, Charter Mechanical was part of this project team. We assisted with pre-construction design, built, and installed the onsite mechanical HVAC piping and plumbing, rainwater harvesting system, direct buried fuel system and process piping for the maintenance bays.
