Charter Mechanical Participates in Construction Safety Week, May 6 – 10

Charter Mechanical is marking the 2024 Construction Safety Week with a variety of activities that support this year’s theme of “Value Every Voice.” Both our Oregon and Arizona offices will be participating in Safety Week from May 6- 10.

More than 70 construction firms across the U.S. and Canada have joined forces for annual Safety Week, a construction industry-wide education and awareness event.

Charter will be marking Safety Week with special onsite activities such as safety walk-throughs with our leadership team, special stretching sessions each morning, and thank-you events to recognize our employees and thank them for making their voices heard for the benefit of our safety and that of our customers.

The safety and success of any construction project is determined by the individual decisions and actions of every team member. That is why this year’s Safety Week emphasizes the importance of working together to build a culture that values every voice, and ensures everyone in every role feels seen, heard, and supported. At Charter we value the voices of all employees, and their individual contributions to safety on the job.

“Safety Week is an opportunity to remind each other we have their back, supporting them both on the job site and at home. This week is a chance to renew our commitment to each other to create a safe, supported environment across the industry,” said Cordell Tietz, President, Charter Mechanical. “We are proud to participate in Safety Week and recognize our employees for the valuable contributions they make to our safety every day.”
