Charter Mechanical is proud to be one of the 40 local companies honored with the Portland Business Journal’s annual Corporate Philanthropy Awards. Honorees were recognized at a luncheon on October 24 at the Hilton in downtown Portland.
Charter is ranked third out of the top ten companies in the large revenue category ($50 million – $249.9 million in revenue). Our ranking is based on the $472,891 that Charter donated to local charities in 2023.
The Portland Business Journal’s annual Corporate Philanthropy Awards is a celebration of community service and corporate giving. The Journal honors the top companies in four different revenue categories who are displaying exemplary philanthropic practices and developing an innovative and unique partnership between companies and nonprofits.
Charter Mechanical has been giving back to our community since our founding in 2006, providing support through multiple means that include the annual Charitable Giving Campaign and direct financial contributions to nonprofits in our communities. Notably, Charter’s Charity Committee donated to more than 30 charities in 2023 alone. We are thrilled to see these efforts reflected in our ranking on the Portland Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards.
