Cordell Tietz Inducted into OSU’s Academy of Distinguished Engineers

Charter Mechanical was proud to attend an event at OSU to celebrate the achievements of our President, Cordell Tietz. He was one of six OSU alumni inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Engineers, one of three categories that comprise the Oregon Stater Awards.

Awarded annually, the Oregon Stater Awards celebrate achievements and honor alumni and industry partners whose contributions exemplify Oregon State’s leadership over the past 150 years. The winners were celebrated at a dinner at OSU on October 23.

Cordell is one of Charter Mechanical’s founding employees. He is proud of the team that has been assembled at Charter and the many accomplishments of the company, including multiple honors as one of Oregon’s Fastest Growing Private 100 Companies and as one of the nation’s top 100 mechanical and specialty contractors. “I am humbled and honored to be chosen for this award. Congratulations to all the other distinguished award winners.” said Cordell.
